Bombala platypus reserve

I didn't see any platypus. Wrong time of the day but the scenery was beautiful. Locals advise you need to be there either early morning or late in the afternoon

What a beautiful place by the river. Home to 20 species of birds. We saw about 10 different bird species. Take your time and enjoy the river. Swollen river today meant no chance of platypus but it is so fabulous that they are found here.

Gorgeous spot and we spotted trails and bubbles but you'll need to come early or late to see much more! Still a lovely spot for a picnic

Peaceful and silent. Great place to stop with a packed lunch.
