Harris River is a small slice of heaven in the rolling hills of the Ferguson Valley. The winery is a wonderful place to enjoy picturesque views, not to mention a fantastic wine & food menu (and gin and beer!!!) All wine is grown and produced on site which is pretty impressive and the staff were so helpful and informative during the tasting. I couldn't recommend this place enough even as a passer by or for meeting friends. Just a short drive from Perth or Bunbury, it was so refreshing to step out into the stunning landscape and enjoy all that Harris River has to offer from this family run winery.
visited Harris River Winery intending to purchase a carton of wine. Customer service was terrible. After waiting 10 mins we were attended to- I had a Gin tasting and Kevin ordered a white wine tasting. I got mine then the lady who served us turned her back and served several other people while we once again, waited and waited.nRegretfully I purchased a bottle of gin. Kevin still waiting for his tasting!!!! I should have left without buying anything. Very poor service. Purchase of carton of wine lost as we then walked out. Would have expected much better treatment so will not be back and will not recommend this winery to my family or friends.
Great place to live, work, eat, drink and generally enjoy
Late August, had a really nice first visit to this local to Collie winery/brewery/cidery on a Sunday. Beautiful setting which I'm sure is more beautiful when the vines are full of maturing grapes. The wine tastings were well presented with a straight forward approach to their style of wines being offered. The food offered was more a style of tapas rather than full on meals. We had a shared mix meat/cheese platter $28, we ordered two not knowing the size of the platter and WOW generous offerings, we wrapped the 2nd platter and took home with the trust factor that 1 we will return for the great hospitality and 2 to return the platter. Well done Harris River team.
Nice location and food was ok
