CGU Insurance

Have been with CGU for a long time with car and house insurance. Never made a claim.nRecently had to make a claim and i found out the hard way that they certainly do not deliver as one would expect. Very painful to deal with. Offered to cover only a small portion of my claim. Dont help to organise repair, just offer money and leave you on your own to deal with it.nnAbsolutely terrible. Avoid.

Assessor arrogantly denied obvious external components of vehicle repair. Can’t be bothered arguing with these peanuts so I’ve moved all three policies to RAA. CGU have lost the three policies I held with them for more than 15 years all over approximately $230.00 worth of plastic parts. It’s not the cost, it’s the principle of their assessors arrogance and my inconvenience. Buyer beware.

CGU is the worst insurance company friends make sure you never insure anything with this lot. I lost both my car keys in house fire and they told me that they dont cover fire they only cover theft which is 1000$.nmy car is 90k how can u make keys for 1000$.nWorst insurance company ever.nExtremely rude and in experienced staff

(ZERO STAR) Unhelpful, DO NOT waste your money going with this CGU provider, I will definitely change my provider. The staff (especially Michael and Matthew who i talked to) has zero information to help guide the clients and zero respect towards the customers when you call to claim.
