I've been calling now for over a week trying to get through to existing claims. I have tried requesting a call back twice, the first time I received a call back but was immediately placed on hold for 10 minutes then had to continue working. Yesterday, I left my work phone on speaker so that someone else in the office could leave a message to call me back. An operator confirmed they would ring me but I still haven't received a call. I have a car that I need fixed, I need to use my time at work to actually work, I've now been on hold for over 40 minutes. Is this some sort of joke?

I have my car insurance with Allianz, I have had 2 claims over a number of years and they have been fantastic. They get back to you quickly and get the repairs done. Both of mine I had to pay the excess, but that was ok as who damaged my car didn't leave a note.. surprise.. you can choose your repairer. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Allianz

Very competitive comprehensive insurance cover for both my car and my camper trailer. Overall, very happy with the cover and price paid.

They are taking too long to process my claim the insurance assessor has been but it's taking two weeks and they still haven't contacted me l have been with Allianz for ten years they have always been quick before but having to wait over an hour to get through to them and waiting so long for my car repaired is ridiculous l was going to insure my other car with them but not now they are loosing me as a customer

Avoid. After making two claims a week apart (never having made a home insurance claim before and being with Allianz for 6 years), I feel betrayed ... after agreeing and paying out the claims, they sent an unsigned pro forma letter with no contact details saying they were going to terminate my home policy. You'd think they would just not pay out, wouldn't you? By terminating they will not get a chance to recoup the cost of the payout. Beware their Insurance Adjusters and do not believe their claim that this results in a better customer experience - the guy they sent me (1) could not find the address (despite the house no. clearly on the letterbox), (2) had a patronising, combative attitude and consistently talked over the top of me, and (3) after his assessment walked around outside taking photos of my driveway and shed (the claims related to the house interior!) without permission or explanation. Now I know why!! I am awaiting the response of my online complaint, but I have learned something - that honesty is never appreciated and people take it as weakness.nnUPDATE - 6 months later, I am stil awaiting a response to my online complaint submitted Nov. 2020 - just as well I didn't hold my breath or else you would not be reading this, dear viewer! I suspect that the Allianz contact form is not monitored, read, or acted upon., and is redundant.nToday I cancelled my remaining Allianz car insurance policy. I am pleased to announce that I found insurance with another company which is cheaper, has greater benefits including free car hire, seniors and other loyalty discounts. So, my advice is, if you are unhappy with your company, don't stay with it - you really can do better. Yay!
