WSC Insurance Brokers

WSC work for their underwriters not their clients. I recently had to make a claim for stolen photography gear. This was a hugely stressful experience as it is my job and my family and mortgage depend on me and my gear to provide us with income. WSC's treated me like a criminal not a victim. They compounded my stress, not abated it. Every step of the way I had to fight with them to ensure my claim was paid out in full. I even had to fight with them to ensure the cost of my short term hire gear was covered as per the insurance I had taken out and paid with them. In short they have no ability to act with compassion towards a claimant and I strongly advise everyone to avoid them. My claim was paid, as well as my hire gear, but through no help by them. The additional stress caused by their Manager and CEO who I was dealing with was one of the most horrible experiences I have gone through. They were treating the risk to my business and my own personal health and wellbeing with contempt. I have personally emailed a complaint to the company and even still there reply was defensive, lacking in any form of compassion or acceptance of the stress they had caused me. I have since found another photography insurance provider and I recommend you do the same.
