Great organic wine, olive and figs products with good selections. Wine tasting was informative. But there are many ways to improve the experiences. The food platter portion is too small for paid tasting of $15. Been to many other cellars which did not charge wine tasting and still received good platter. We were served 1 small platter to share for 4 people (2 figs per plate so we could not even taste the figs as did not get enough figs for 4 people). There were many wines that were in the list but not available. Within ourselves we spent hundreds to purchase the products. When we got home, we noticed one of the wine was the wrong wine (got the one that taste like bushfire).
Our wine tasting and lunch at Rosnay winery was one of the highlights of our weekend in the Orange/Canowindra area. Richard led us through a fun and highly engaging wine tasting which was followed by the most delicious lunch by Pen, which we enjoyed outside looking over the vineyard. I highly recommend this experience (and the wines)!nnIn addition to wine they also grow and sell olive and fig products. As with all wineries/venues in this area at the moment you need to pre-book online. They also cater to dietary requirements.
What a fabulous wine tasting experience the food was absolutely delicious and locally sourced which paired wonderfully with the wine tasting. A big thank you to the Host's Sam & Penny for an amazing experience. We will be back.nn#10 Field Blend, yum!
Very friendly, informative and relaxing wine experience. Really enjoyed tasting Rosnay wines together with their platter of organic olives and figs! We were very tempted to buy everything! :)
We had the most lovely experience with Sam at the Cellar door today and then had a very memorable lunch supplied by the gorgeous Penny in her sweet straw bale house located on the farm. We laughed, we cried and we laughed some more.nSalt of the earth people. Will definitely return.
