Kangarutha Track

I just wanted to make a note about the Karangarutha Track. This is a relatively tough track, a fair bit of up and down and there are moments where you get some great views. Plus like all bush walks there is a feeling of achievement when you finish it. What’s missing though is the “odd” marker that tells you where you are on the track and how far to the next major point of interest. I am not asking for something every 500 metres or so, but something every one or two kilometres would help you to better decide whether to keep going or whether it’s time to turn around and head back to your car.
