I have seen some shocking doctors at this clinic over my years of living in the Midland area, with one even googling symptoms while I was sitting int he office. The wait times can be ridiculously long and front desk service is nothing special. The one saving grace of this place is Dr Bernadine Gomes. She is hands down the most thorough, caring doctor I have ever seen. After being a patient of hers, I will follow her to whatever clinic she goes to! Dr Gomes deserves her own 5 star rating. I wouldn't see anyone else at St Andrews except for her.

The front desk are incapable of critical thinking. Broken ribs = SoB and commonly Pna & chest well trauma... When people want to see a dr not a phone call, and you don’t listen to their symptoms, they’re going to just lie about them to get in to see the dr anyway...so why not just listen, be compassionate, and stop acting like a prison guard...you’re a health professional mate...act like one or dismiss yourself...

Fantastic service and care from Dr Collis Horrific service from Dr Vaz,disgustingly rude/abrupt. Vaz Stated to me "Thanks for wasting my time" The nurses could learn some empathy,CARE and guidance Front desk is also poor

My husband and I have been attending St. Andrews for many years and we are very happy with our Doctor who is exceptional; and the reason that we continue with St. Andrews. Sadly, the reception staff, particularly those who answer the phone really do leave a lot to be desired regarding their P.R. and telephone etiquette and willingness to help. While appointments could be made on line, sometimes we need to make a telephone call for various reasons – and this I dread, because 95% of the time the person/s I have spoken to have been rude and very unhelpful. Just an e.g. A few days back I visited my Dr. for a general health check and everything was good. Just yesterday, as a prerequisite to join a gym, I needed a letter from my Dr. certifying that I am fit for exercise. In fact, I was given a form which only required Dr.’s signature. I called this morning to find out the possibility of this without me actually having to be there. That I would collect the said letter after work. Since I work 5 days a week, 8am – 4pm, I usually need to take time off work to keep a Dr. appointment, (I live in Midland and work in Murdoch). The lady I spoke to (name sounded Carley of Keiley, said she was an assistant manager? To the doctors?) – was very rude saying that if I required anything from the Dr. I need to make an appointment and be there in person as the Dr. is not paid to give out letters. I have not made similar request in the past. (This was just my most recent experience. Several other such incidents in the past). It is mainly the reception staff who seem to lack personality and give the impression that they are doing the patient a favour. My husband visits the centre regularly as he has ongoing treatment/checks and finds the rest of the staff helpful and friendly. After my recent visit with my Dr. I received a "review" form, which I completed with very positive remarks, I now wish I was not that generous with my reviews and should have been more honest re. my past unsatisfactory experiences with the reception staff / telephonists.
