The Virgin Rock Viewing Area

A gem beside the busy Gregory Highway. A beautiful view makes this a great place for a comfort stop.nWhilst there I met the lovely lady who did the cleaning. She loves her work and had knowledge of the local area to visit.

Not a bad little roadside camp. The lit up Virgin Rock and Minerva Bluff provide a fantastic backdrop. Well worth planning to leave your van and take a drive into the Minerva Hills as there are multiple viewing platforms above here. An easy walk or drive gets you to all of them - Skyline is the single hardest one at 800m length with multiple steps.

What a great spot looking over to Minerva NP, which lights up at night. Small free camp but only 3 others when we stayed so room for all.nFollow us for more Aussie travels @kidsgoplaces

Nice camp get there early because it gets packed. Virgin Rock is an awesome sight at night. Toilets available

Great place to overnight in our caravan and visit the NP in the morning where we walked and drove to the various outlooks on the Virgin Rocks and enjoyed the views. Toilets and water available.
