Brisbane Koala Bushlands

Great picnic area. Educational wall for kids. Press the buttons and you hear the sound of the animal & information about it. The tracks are well maintained. Who knows, you may be fortunate enough like us and see a koala ( seen 2 on different occasions) . Also discovered a carpet snake up in rafters of a shelter shed. Curled up resting.

Natural bush setting, covered area with toilets, picnic tables dotted around the area some under cover. Horse riding trails plus a sealed footpath that winds down along a creek and back up to the entrance area. Apart from the occasional plane the most noise is the bird population. A pleasant area to visit, stroll around and enjoy nature.
