This is hands down, the most beautiful course I’ve ever played at. Every hole left you with spectacular views! Very challenging the whole way round and be expected to lose some balls! The service from the staff was immaculate and the whole experience from getting on the ferry to getting back off was superb. The price is a little steep but what can you expect when you’re playing golf on a resort! Couldn’t recommend enough!
Hard to review, we had a great time on the course. But the power of good Friday restrictions went to the head of the staff. Questioning every order we made, are we eating with a knife and fork? Is a desert a meal? Can we drink with a meal that does not require a knife and fork. After spending $300 plus of golf and $500 plus on meals why Question is Queensland's good Friday restrictions are relevant to paying customers?! I just don't get it?!!!
I am far from being a golfer, but even the most experienced of our group found this course to be equally stunning and challenging. Unforgiving is a more apt description. You can count your success by balls lost - the clubhouse recommended 12.nnYou are going to need a lot of balls if you play anything like me.nnWhy the 5 stars? Well, even if you don't play, you should try the lunch tour. Two courses of possibly the best food in Hamilton Island as well as a guided tour of the back 9 holes of one of Australia's most picturesque golf courses.nnThis is a Must Visit location.
Poor service, just cos it's a beautiful setting doesn't mean service can fall by the wayside. One staff member possibly the manager appears intent on making a point on being unhappy with our group. Not sure why? She needs to appreciate all customers regardless of minor frustrations?
It really doesn’t get better then this! The staff make the experience even better, from the Ferry ride over to the ride home, everyone takes so much pride in everything they do.nnYou have to book for lunch so your not disappointed in being told sorry we are booked out, everyone wants to have lunch here because it’s amazing! So book ahead!nnThank you
