Given the wonderful reviews, I am going to share with you my experience so that no-one else ends up with life-long conditions. Woke up from an anesthetic learning about a knee procedure we had not discussed and was told I required a knee replacement with several years! What should have been a simple arthroscope ended with a procedure which was based on microfractures in the knee joint. This procedure was a disaster - 5 days later I was in serious condition in ICU with a DVT and pulmonary embolism. Despite the fact he was phoned by the ED, there was no follow up at all on my condition (after I phone him 5 days later, just out of ICU, to advise that I couldn't attend a follow up appointment, he didn't think it was that serious, despite the head of ED calling him late at night). I have life long issues with post-thrombotic syndrome and under the care of a vascular surgeon, permanent damage to my lungs and I can never take estrogen so am suffering through early menopause with no way to manage the symptoms. The new orthopedic surgeon who managed the fall out of failed knee surgery, the physio and the sports physician were in disbelief of my situation and could not see how or why the procedure was done or at best why I was not given a blood thinner post surgery. The suggestion of a knee replacement has been considered preposterous by other health professionals - perhaps it was suggested to fund the next holiday or 'toy.' There are plenty of other surgeons in Melbourne, do yourself a favour and get another opinion.

Dr Raleigh and his team are as professional as they get! I had a rotator cuff repair and from start to finish it couldn’t have been easier. Pre surgery paperwork, insurance concerns, preadmission checklists and post op procedures were seamless.nI am hoping my results long term will be as good!!
