My family and I were looking to stay on the Gold Coast for a few nights during the school holidays and naturally everywhere we wanted to stay was either booked out or beyond our budget. I decided to call Getaway Golf and see if they could organise something for us and also fit me in for a round of golf at The Glades. I was expecting my request for golf to be fulfilled but I was not expecting them to also find accommodation for us during this busy period. Within half an hour of my initial enquiry I received a call from Getaway Golf confirming a tee time along with a couple of options for accommodation within our price range. I was completely blown away by this! Not only were the staff super friendly and helpful but they went above and beyond to get us a place to stay. It’s worth mentioning that before I had contacted them I spent hours online trying to find something myself and also called up half a dozen travel agents as well but only Getaway Golf called me back and delivered results. From my experience it’s safe to say that there is no substitute for good old fashion service and these guys delivered it in spades!

Am delighted with the ease at which Getaway Golf (Sherron) put this package together for us. Already playing a comp at Barnboogle, it made sense to extend the visit to Tasmania from WA by a couple of days and get in another couple of rounds at the well promoted Country Club and Mowbray Golf club. Two rounds of golf, carts, fantastic accommodation and in magnificent surrounds at an affordable rate, what more could you ask for. Friendly, obliging and attentive response from Gateaway I couldnt fault and in fact praise. Now just to await the day and the games! Thanks for making it so.
