Tygum Lagoon

Great place for the family, Electric bbq area's and play area for the children. Lots of big green trees, for shelter from the sun in summer. on a Sunday morning from 0600 to 12pm you can see the little miniature sail boats, on the lake. Their is a Pontoon, you can go fishing off the jetty. You can take a bag of old bread and feed, the birds and ducks. Their is a concrete walking pathway that laps right around the lake that's 1km long. If you like to stop and exercise along the way ? You can take advantage of their outdoor gym equipment placed around the 1km walk, and if that's not enough you can take a basketball and shoot some hoops. I love this park its a park for families to enjoy each other's company. I love going there with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the peace and quiet or go for a walk around the lagoon. Definitely worth a look

So beautiful the lagoon is. Lots of birdlife. Love the pirate park for the kids too. And the sand park.
