Ray White Nolan & Iken

Easily one of the worst experiences I have had with an agency by far, pure greed and absolutely no transparency with buyers throughout the process. The property was advertised to go to auction and then 1 week prior to it, they sent out a mass message to all interested buyer telling them the property was selling prior and they needed their best offer within 48 hours along with a signed contract, 66W, and a 10% cheque. Not only this buyers were given no indication of where their price had to be, I have many colleagues in the industry everyone i have spoken has indicated this strategy is done out of greed and fear that the property may not sell for the highest price at auction. would highly NOT recommend buying, selling, renting or even dealing with this agency.

Overall we did have a good experience in selling our property with Ray White Nolan and Iken. In the end, we did achieve the desired result, however, I must say that Theresa Scholtz was quite underhanded in the way she dealt with the advertising of our property.nnI explicitly told Theresa that she was not to list our property before professional photographers could come and photograph our house. She suggested that it would be better if she could arrange to come and view the property and take photos on her phone and list the property earlier. I told her several times on the conversation that I did not want to list low quality photos of our house and wanted to wait for the professional photographer.nnWe hadn't been able to show her the property as we had tenants in there. After our tenants moved out, we went over to the property to repaint one of the rooms and asked Theresa to come over so we could show her around. I noticed that as my husband was showing her around the property, she was taking photos with her phone. When I spoke to her about it and again reminded her that I did not want her to list the property without consulting us first, she had the audacity to lie to my face and say the photos were only for her reference.nnA few days later, to my horror, my husband received an email and message to say that the property had been listed even though it was a few days before the professional photographers were due to come. When I opened the Domain link, lo and behold were the photos that Theresa had taken with her phone camera showing our property in poor lighting.nnWhen I rang her to ask her to take the listing down, she replied that there would be a cost in getting it taken down and relisted - which she would charge us for despite the fact that she was the one who had gone behind our back in listing it in the first instance.nnAnyone with a brain would know that first impressions of a property are everything. If I was a potential buyer and saw that, I would think that the owners had replaced the original photos of the property with Photoshopped photos and skip over the listing.nnI expressed my disappointment to Theresa in her actions, lies and failure to rectify the her mistake and make the customer wear the cost of her mistake, but the damage had unfortunately already been done.nnWe did luckily get the price that we wanted, thanks to the Rod and his team. But I cannot say the same for Theresa. She represents every negative cliche about real estate agents.

EXTREMELY UNTRUSTWORTHY.nnLovely caring staff such as Jordan who was extremely approachable and welcoming, However....nnWhile in between scrubbing for trauma patients At work I was contacted by the realestate to inform me I had been approved for a rental property. As I was extremely busy at work I asked if I could phone back the next morning. I was told I was the only applicant and they were happy for me to phone the next morning to agree to accept the rental property and sort out the bond & paperwork etc. Very lovely and understanding conversation with Jordan.nAfter working 18hours and finishing at 4am I phoned Ray White Riverstone the next morning as promised and was unfortunately greeted with an unfriendly, uncaring, obstinate person Adam Iken (the principal of the company) giving me the news that the property had been given away to the another applicant.nnI have to tell you after being promised a property and told no problems about calling back today with my answer & organising paperwork etc. I was extremely upset when hearing this. I feel I have been unjustly treated, lied to and treated like absolute garbage. Adam was extremely cold, unforgiving & heartless.nnAdam made me feel like I was worthless and not his problem, he works for the owners of the property only.nnI am extremely disappointed and offended.nnIn the future, if you promise a rental property to a customer and assure them they can phone you the next day to sort everything, at least give them the decency of a phone call if you decide to promise the same property to another applicant.nnExtremely disappointed, de-humanised and upset by what has taken place. I didn’t realise people could be so cold and heartless.

As a B2B client of Ray White Nolan & Iken, it is indeed refreshing to deal with a business that values its' staff so highly.nnAdam and Rod go above and beyond the call of duty in providing a fair, safe and compliant working environment for their employees.nnThey are an employer of choice in the Real Estate industry and a pleasure to do business with.

Have been a tenant with Ray White Riverstone for 2 years and Adam and the team have all been awesome, even helping us to find a great home to move into when our landlord decided to sell. The best real estate we've delt with to date. Highly recommended.
