Kokoda Memorial Park

Really basic playground with quite limited aged play equipment. There's a large grass area which is mostly unusable due to lack of cover/shade, and some limited seating.

There's a lively community of dog owners here, though the park is a bit small. You have to be very careful about letting dogs get close to the road on either side. Parking is also quite difficult (as is anywhere really near the city). So it is best visited if you already live nearby. Good for a half-an-hour play with the pooch.

This was a safe park for little ones, some bigger children's equipment outside the enclosed area. Unfortunately it is not being well maintained. My 4yr old grandchild commented on how dirty the equipment was.

Mostly a dog park and everything that goes with it.

Basic playground. Just a few benches and most of them lack of shading. Not a good place for summer, but popular for dogs.
