My partner and I had an amazing wine tasting experience at PS and all the credit goes to our lovely hostess, Ned. We felt immediately welcome from her friendly and bubbly personality upon being seated. She was very personable and made our experience really fun and enjoyable. Aside from her extensive knowledge of the wines and wine making process, it was her personality and characteristics that made conversations seem so natural. She was very attentive to our tasting and overall, her customer service was outstanding. Of course, the winery is beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely lunch on the front lawn from the sandwich truck.
We had a lovely tasting at Philip Shaw today. Our server (a lovely Canadian lady) was extremely helpful, the wines were very nice, and the dogs were an unexpected added bonus...! Well worth a visit.
Beautiful winery and surrounding estate. The cellar door was nice enough with great service, the gentleman running the show was respectful and the two dogs very friendly. Only dropping a score as we didn’t actually find the wines to our palate.
We ventured to Philip Shaw wines as part of a wine tour with Winery Experiences Orange, and we were not disappointed. If you manage to visit the vineyard, you can admire the sweeping landscape with old-styled and rustic architecture, in company with incredible wine tasting. Most of all, a charismatic and very knowledgeable host, Francesca, who made our tasting such a light and enjoyable experience. Thank you to Philip Shaw wines, you will definitely be seeing our faces again.nnWill and Bec
My partner and I were highly anticipating the visit to PS for wine tasting and were very disappointed. The tasting we booked was very rushed and staff were cold and bordering on rude. I suggest buying a bottle and taking it outside, rather than doing the tasting, as PS seem to be more focused on volume during the weekends / public holidays, when it gets busy. Other wineries and cellar doors in the area were heaps more friendlier and chilled, hence they got our business.
