Really beautiful setting and fantastic environment centre. Attended a Nature journalling course (free!) run by a talented and friendly artist.

Really cool place to take the family for a walk in nature. All flat and suitable for prams, wheelchairs and all ages. Dogs are allowed on leash. Great educational signs and feels like you are a million miles from Brisbane and potentially another period in history.

Ok let's start with the negative, having made a special journey to visit the Wetlands. I was very disappointed to find out that the main pathway through the wetlands was closed. However a lovely Ranger lady explained everything to me and also pointed out an Owl nesting in a tree, which made my day. Maybe that could have added a note on the Website about the path. Never mind, still a cool place.....
