My hair stylist is Elijah and I only book in with him as I was lucky enough on my first time here to find someone who knows what styles work for me. He always does an amazing job on my hair (even when I change it up) and explains why a style may or may not work for me if I'm trying to explain a new hair style I've seen. It's taken me ages to find a good hair dresser but I can confidently go in every time knowing that I'm going to be looked after and leave one happy customer :) So friendly, professional and skilled in knowing what he's doing. Definately worth the money!

Great salon. Great experience every time. Jeannie is my stylist. Always listens to what I want. Extremely experienced and tells me if what I want will work. Lots of ideas - indicative of her experience and attention to detail. Have seen Jeannie for years - salon staff don't seem to change. Sign of a happy crew.

I have been going to Oscar Oscar Garden City since August last year and I have only good thing to say about them. The respect they have for the clients is amazing and they are always there to give you advice and to help you. I personally see Victoria whenever I go in and shes always has a bright smile on her face and answers all my questions and concerns. My hair use to be frizzy and puffy and I hated having my natural hair to the point I would only straighten it. But Victoria has fixed it and recommended me products which have fixed it. Now I feel comfortable and confident with my natural hair without any heat. All the staff are so kind and will remember your name even if they don't do your hair. They never push you to buy something or do something, they are there for guidance and help and will do what you ask. They also give amazing head, shoulder and neck massages that make you feel sooo relaxed. They are professional but you can also see them as a friend. Thank you Oscar Oscar Garden City and Victoria for helping me with my hair problems and always listening and engaging with conversation.

I have been a client of Oscar Oscar Garden City since the day it opened having seen multiple staff and managers throughout the years. I have decided to write a review after stumbling upon some of the reviews noted below. I have continued to see Tanya through the bulk of my time & there are not enough words to simply express how amazing she is. Her technical experience , her guidance and skillset coupled with an amazing personality is the reason I consider her a friend.nnI have further had the pleasure of Elijah, another Senior Stylist looking after me. Again, the knowledge, technical experience,professionalism and his always smiling face has cemented his place as a true asset to the salon.nnEven when walking past the Stylist outside of the salon, Jeannie will always offer a wave and smile and that is a testament to how much they value their clients and what good people genuinely are.nnBeing in the salon over the years, I have seen/heard many clients telling their stylist what to do and while the stylists try to guide the clients ( thank you Tanya and Elijah for ensuring I didn’t turn into a circus ) ultimately the client ( with no technical knowledge) has the final say.nnWhen going to a Doctor we never question the treatment plan of the Doctors - perhaps clients should treat their stylist the same way, or rather do their own hair at home & free up appointments - there’s a 2 month wait for a reason. Thank you guys - Keeping being amazing!

I was in desperate need of a cut and went in not really knowing exactly what I wanted. Kristy took care of me, listened and made suggestions based on the health of my hair. I had a wash, ritual, blow dry, style and cut. The customer service I had was great, I felt welcomed, acknowledged and valued as a customer. Kristy has fantastic knowledge on hair health, care and products. I did interact with some assistants who were all great with me and obviously you can see that this salon really understands customer service by the way the casual assistants are so eager to learn and how they treat and value their customers.nnThe overall experience was great, I was very anxious about having my long hair cut off but I’m extremely happy with the style, I’ll definitely be going back.
