What a great walk...you have to experience this.

Beautiful nature trail. Some steep sections that might be difficult for some, but the rest is mainly flat. The walk along the creek is extremely beautiful.

It's a beautiful walk. Take time to enjoy the walk and greenery around.

Fantastic walk, Sydney's best, if u like hardcore bushwalk stay left and don't cross creek. The Google map green path is not accurate and the tunks Park end is very difficult to NAVIGATE BEFORE THE SUSPENSION BRIDGE, MY ADVICE IS TO STAY HIGH JUST BELOW THE ROCKS OF PPLS PROPERTIES AND FORCE YOUR WAY THROUGH THE FERNS. The sign is not lying when it says self guided walk.nnIf u want real Aussie bush walking, try it. Not for the feint hearted and I suggest u do you it mornings and not when in is raining as it gets slippery.nnIf u attempt it, u need to take the high ground under the huge rocks below ppl property, till u get to the waterfall. There is a river crossing but the current was so strong today, I wouldn't attempt it if u want to stay dry, there is no way u can jump the width of the river, I have videos I uploaded to my instagram: WllhikingnnNote it is easier to start the walk/trail run from Artarmon Reserve end 850m from Artarmon train station, follow bike path most of way, via Henry Lawson Cave through Willoughby to a 3 way split in the path, then follow dirt path in front of u, as rocky sections are downhill to end up at tunks Park and just walk to miller St for bus to city near Wynyard circular quay.nnThe branches are all dead so u might want to tug on it before you rely on pulling power.nnThere is a rock face that tested my nerves as it was wet n slippery . But u can take the detour below it.nnI do a lot of jumping and butt sliding so wear long pants. Also to avoid scratchesnnIf u go make sure you have Google maps and full battery.nnMake sure your shoes have good grip. My Nike pegasus 35 did the job but I would have preferred my waterproof Columbia montrail 2nnFeel free to msg me if u get lost lolnnTell u what, if u make it out of there to Tunks Park, u will want to hug all the dogs there lolnnThe bus to city from tunks Park end is not the 1st one at the turn facing the big suspension bridge structures, need to walk 5min up miller St a little past Coles petrol station. Many more buses past that other stop.nnPs those properties on cliff Avenue who dump all the garbage over the cliff as pictured should be fined by Willoughby Council!!
