Dr Fernando is an excellent cardiologist. He diagnosed my heart condition and organised an urgent heart bypass operation for me. He is nearly always running late for his office appointments would be my only negative but he is a great doctor.

Dr Dharsh came to the hospital at 2am and saved my life - unblocking my heart artery and putting in a stent. He is very skilled, knowledgeable, caring and kind and takes the time to explain things.

Highly unprofessional! I rang in today at around 3.40pm to make an appointment for my mum as she was referred to Dr Dharsh Fernando by her GP. The receptionist over the phone, kept putting me hold to answer other calls for lengthy periods of time. I enquired from the receptionist as to how much the cost would be for an initial consult and her answer to me was that no practice in Victoria should ever be giving out information about the initial consult cost and thus refused to give me at least a rough estimate of how much we had to pay to see Dr Dharsh. I was utterly shocked and disappointed because I myself work for a specialist clinic, that too for a Surgeon. I’ve worked for other specialists as well and I’ve never heard of a practice as such. I had to hang up after being put on hold again because of another call. This is a matter to be given serious attention by the practice management.
