Were I a car and this medical centre a garage who had just had me serviced, I am quite sure I would have refused to pay the bill!nSure, the mechanic looked under the bonnet and might have told me of some minor problems with the engine that I wasn't aware of.nBut it would have been entirely appropriate for him to deal with the major issues that I brought to his attention - especially those that definitely required further and, possibly, urgent investigation.nInstead, I got lumbered with a very expensive bill for work that barely even existed!
