Northside Fruit and Vegetables

Really happy with our boxes. It really shows me how unfresh some of the produce is in the supermarkets. The fruit and vegetables in our boxes have bright colours and big tastes.

Delicious fresh fruit and veg delivered by hunky guys what more could you ask for.

I've tried Northside's boxes a few times during COVID lockdown and have found the quality and range very good. The home delivery has afforded peace of mind as I've been able to avoid markets and supermarkets. It's great to get veggies you might not usually buy and I've enjoyed finding new recipes that give me inspiration on ways to use things like swedes and turnips. I really appreciated the Northside team following up when the wrong box was delivered to me by mistake. Thanks team and stay safe and well.

I got a veggie box from these folks last week and it was perfect. They even answered cooking suggestions!

I ordered the seasonal fruit/veg box. The ordering process was relatively easy and the order arrived on time, in a reusable crate(yay) . The assortment of produce was different to what I expected. Included were kale and parsley (both good quality) and a selection of other vegetables. These included some finger sized carrots and marble sized radishes (way too small) The corella pears were harvested too early, and had no flavour, nor any potential to ripen. Given the abundance of apples at this time of year, it was disappointing that they were not included. Instead there was one quince, one small honeydew melon and two small oranges. The box also included half bunches of chicory and rhubarb. I sent an enquiry about the half bunches, but did not receive a response. In general, most of the produce included was 2nd grade (lob sided/blemished products) which I have no objection to. I do,however, have no use for produce which is harvested too early and has no flavour or nutritional value. Unfortunately, as much as I try to support small business, I can not recommend this service.
