I highly recommend Specsavers Optometrists Richmond Victoria Gardens. The staff are all very friendly and helpful at all times. Vivian the Optometrist is very good and thorough. Anthony is an amazing specialist in his field and very professional and is the expert in fitting new and existing specs. Specsavers needs to understand that glasses order maybe just normal order for the company, but it is life for a customer. We can’t live normal life without glasses because we can’t see anything properly.nnI booked eye test with specsavers on 28th Feb at Hawthorn branch due to severe eye infection and headache. The optometrist told me that the eye infection is due to wrong glasses that I have been using. I ordered new glasses straight away. The lady on the counter told me that on average it will take one week and should not take more than two weeks. I waited patiently for one week. As, during that week a can’t drive or work without glasses. After one week I called them, they told me that my glasses are on the way and will arrive in 2 to 3 days. After 4 days I visited their store and enquired about my glasses. The gentlemen on the counter said that it will arrive within two week you can come after two weeks are over. After two weeks I called them and enquire about the glasses. They told me that glasses are still on the way, but we are hoping to get it tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to lockdown we are going to be closed for the next five days. I talked to their branch manager and he ensure me that my glasses will be ready, the day lockdown will be over. Here again, I called them in morning and the men on phone told me to wait 15 mins and he will call me back about my glasses status. After two hours, I called them again and ask about my glasses. Now lady on the phone told me that “it will take couple of days more” She will check next delivery that they are expected to receive on coming Monday but can’t ensure that my glasses will be in this delivery or not.nnDuring my stay in Australia, I have never experienced such pathetic customer service. I blame myself for all this because I fell for their cheap glasses and eye test advertisement. Should have gone to other company and may have living normal life by now.

Excellent service during covid times. Hannah was attentive & took all the time required to help me find stylish glasses. Friendly, professional & welcoming. A great asset to the company!
