Sapphire Pools Joondalup

We were told the pool would go in in February, didnt go in until March. The salesman told us we would get a electronic pool cleaner but we signed for a manual one, our fault for not reading the contract properly. They left a heap of sand over from the dig which we have had to get rid of, even though we paid them to remove the sand. Rubbish was left behind, had to chase the electrician to do his work. Head office were mostly good to deal with and the guy that did our handover was excellent. But overall, not an enjoyable experience and would not recommend them. Unfortunately.

Nice place to see swimming pools. They have a reasonable selection of pools here. The actual shop is smaller than competitors. If you’re after brochures and other literature, you may struggle to get them here. The area is also not flat, so be mindful of this if you’re bringing a pram or little kids. I think they let you swim and test the pools.

DO NOT USE MIKE McCABE FOR YOUR DIG EXCAVATION!!! Did our pool dig and everything seemed fine until months later we had a problem with our drains on the house as they were all overflowing by our newly fitted pool and noticed our very expensive travertine paving was becoming loose so we had a drain specialist come and take a look at what was going on. That’s when they found the drainage pipes under the paving that run out towards my pool we’re all broken and crushed and should have connected to a soakwell and not just flowed into the soil next to our pool. This is the same place where the dig was done and Mike was contacted about what he had done and took absolutely no responsibility whatsoever, funny though once I looked through some pictures that he sent me on the day of the dig as I wasn’t there onsite to inspect I zoomed in on the picture of the dig and can see where the broken pipe was and even the soil looked wet sadly I didn’t notice this on the day otherwise I wouldn’t of paid him and I would of made him fix what he had broken. Make sure if you do buy your pool from this company that they include the price of the dig on the contract and do not let them put buyer to arrange dig with Mike McCabe as they too will not take responsibility for anything that goes wrong due to us the customer paying for the dig direct to the company and not the pool company. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the dig also so I’m happy to see I’m not the only one who has experienced this problem. The product is good.. the Service of the sales People, the installers and Stand over tactics from the installing supervisors and managers is totally unacceptable, and only proceeds when additional fees are paid for site rubble removals and digging and even if you try and contact the owners, Directors of this Company in alliance with others under the Aquatic Leisure Technics Brand will be non existent even if you try to contact their Owner Mr Beale by phone or emails .... Would look elsewhere at competing companies under their own brand such as WA Fibreglass Pool etc..nI am still waiting after 1 year for these people to sort out or reimburse for paving variations during install
