Budget Car & Truck Rental Gladesville

As a small business with the need to hire vehicles , they aren’t too bad. Pretty much always have a car license truck to go. Expensive , but as they say “....if you don’t like it...” Problems arise when it comes to quality and responsibility though. Multiple times trucks have had safety issues not rectified (large hole in pantech floor , unsafe rear latch locking etc) More recently a larger truck was hired - in which the tailgate lifter leaked hydraulic fluid all over our clients driveway. Mind you , the tailgate was static and not used ! This shows a lack of care and proper (actual?) servicing and maintenance. This in it self was a major issue - but under further investigation Budget at Gladesville has failed to rectify the issue or atleast compensate the affected client. IE ignored totally. I’d worry to deal with this business should something go wrong with your rented vehicle The servicing and maintenance system should also be audited thoroughly. Do your research and Be aware of your rights. Also don’t be afraid to bring up an issue of unhappy with a vehicle.

Nice enough. No small cars. Did not want bigger car. Very different on phone to when arrived. Went elsewhere fir small car one hour later. Easy no problems.

I called and the guys answered the phone was rude I decided to not give any attention I came over try to book an car and I understood I m A walk in no booking no car is available or could be but no at the same Price I saw on the website Fair enough I decided to leave but the guy at the reception was rude.. no the best customer service

I hired a Ute at 10AM and returned at 6.30PM. As the office was closed I had to drop the key in the keybox. I travelled 91 KM and pumped 10.5L of petrol before returning. Next day I found my credit card was charged an extra $31 when I called they wanted me to email the receipts which I did. However they did not refund the extra charge. After several calls the guy who answered the phone says they had pumped an extra 8 L of petrol. This is impossible as the tank was over flowing when I pumped petrol the previous day. Will never use them again.
