The palm jungle is really cool and gives you some serious jungle vibes. Probably my favourite part of the whole loop from Otford to figure 8 pools return. The view once you come out of the jungle bit is pretty spectacular too.

Challenging walk from north to south as up steep gradient. Bit too bad the other way, a few nice lookouts

Great hiking route, to have the best experience extend your route to the Figure 8 pool. Really worth it.
