CGU Insurance

They are so unprofessional. You cannot understand them. They cut you offline after waiting for hours. They have no idea what is happening. Making me pay for excess and my own hire care after I was not at fault of my accident.

Just cancelled my policy due to fact that the inspector they sent out has deemed my property is not covered dispite 3 separate inspections saying otherwise. Don't waste your money, they will not insure legitimate claims and now I have cover costs to repair damage after wasting thousands of dollars on premium insurance with these thieves

Had a collision and was told by a claims rep that excess would be waived in our case as the other party was deemed at fault and also not uninsured, this was confirmed with a txt message and emailnnTwo days later we get an email saying we are now being billed the excess and we are found at fault and then they gave us a the conplete steer around happy to hound us but when we call its oh thats a different dept or that person cant do that.nnSo our own insurance company picked the other uninsured party in fault over there own customer and changed there mind 48hrs after the factnnIf you want to hand over money to a company who is happy to throw there own customers under the bus then pick CGU.... ill be cancelling my policy tomorrow and moving to NRMA

Friendly and good value

They play pass the parcel with you phone call don't know what department they work in, lie to about paying a claim and no one wants to do their job. Very sad bunch of people.
