Il Lido Italian Canteen

Caught up with a friend visiting Perth for dinner at Il Lido. Fantastic wine selection. Loved my mushroom gnocchi and the tomato side salad was the perfect addition for some fresh flavours. We didn’t have dessert as we were too full from our meals. It was pretty brutal with the sun slapping us in the face until the staff sorted out the blinds but the view was beautiful when the blinds were reopened when the sun went down. Will definitely come again and happily recommend to others!

Loved the ambience of the place, busy and glad we booked a table. Food was delicious, although the plate was short of one more serving. Staff made the evening for me, Michael and Lucy we wonderful and helpful from the menu to being friendly and holding eye contact during conversations. Dessert was well presented, the Pear Mousse was decadent. Good job fellas, I will love to visit again.

came here for date night with boyfriend. staff are very polite, pulled my chair out for me etc. Had the antipasto board (incredible) and the gnocci which was so soft and delicious. great selection of drinks too

Went yesterday for birthday lunch, and from start to finish was amazing. Genuine, friendly and attentive service. Food was absolutely bang on. I am still dreaming about the pork pasta! Sticky toffee pudding was devine too! Highly recommend!

Pasta servings not particularly large, flavours go from blandish to okay, but not especially fantastic. For the price, you would expect at least one of those two aspects to be a lot better. The flavours of the sauces didn't have that wow factor, two were fine but one dish was actually so bland to the point where a customer next to us was laying on thick the salt, pepper and lemon to give it some flavour. Also, we were still hungry afterwards unfortunately. Staff and wait-staff are excellent, however. Very friendly and good-humoured, certainly worth a visit if stopping for coffee or a beer.
