Wedding Cake Rock

I was a bit disappointed that they've closed off the access to the rock. It was for a valid reason (cracks starting to appear). However, it'd be helpful if they state so when you enter the park. Not sure if they've put up any notice at the park entrance now but they definitely hadn't when I went there. In any case, it is a really nice and picturesque hike. So at the very least, you are guaranteed a relaxing walk.

Pack up some coffee and fruit, relax om the way somewhere and enjoy the view.nnGreat walk, we enjoyed a lot.nLower your expectation for the cake rock, wasn’t anything special.nnBut again highly maintained and great way to spend your day.

An amazing hike to get here, and truly spectacular. Disappointing that our nanny state has made the decision for us that we aren't allowed to stand on the actual rock. If it were so fragile it would have collapsed by now.nnPerhaps a Park Ranger regulating how many individuals were on the rock at any one time would have been a better option.

Beautiful location but has been fenced off for safety reasons. Wonder if the govt department can do something to make it viewable from a slightly different vantage point.
