Karloo walking track

An absolute oasis and a relatively short hike close to Sydney CBD! Easy to get to using either car or public transport (Heathcote). Gets crowded on the weekend! The descent is somewhat steep heading down and up from the pool so ensure you are psychologically prepared!

Great walk. You can start from Heathcote or from Waterfall Station. There are two Falls - Karloo & Uloola. These two stops make the walk worthwhile. A summer time walk so you can go for a swim.

Good challenging hike. Easy parking next to Heathcote station. Can finish at Karloo pools (1 hour) or continue on further.

A great trail and a good hike. Moderate and some hard trail but nothing too challenging. The pond is awesome and a beautiful place to relax and go for a quick dip. Just don't forget to take your own rubbish with you. Keep the area clean, thanks.

Great walk. Started at Waterfall train station and headed for Heathcote. Kept the best part of the track till last with a climb out of the beautiful pools at the end.nI'm not a frequent trekker and found it a moderate walk with some steep rocky climb towards the end. Take some water, take a hat, take sunscreen and your swimmers for a cool dip. Caught train back to Waterfall to pick up car.nnGo during the week if you can as there would be much less people using the rock pool.nnThere are toilets along the way but don't expect to like them.
