I bought an electric violin from them, $340. Turned out that the fingerboard was half collapsed making it terrible to play. The pickup was right next to where the shoulder rest should go which made it impossible to plug in and play without destroying any headphone cable plugged into it.nnAnyway went back to the store saying I was unhappy. Eventually agreed to trade it in for a standard wood instrument. Only the manager was not in and the staff were incapable of processing a trade in.nnLeft the electric violin with them they promised to call me the following day which the call never came. So I called them the day after that only to be told it hadn’t been looked at yet and they’d call me about it within the hour. Waited two days didn’t get called back.nnCalled again after that. Finally got hold of the manager and got told “sorry were not doing trade ins at the moment.” So I explained the situation to him and said it was really poor practice. To which he eventually agreed to do a trade in giving me $200 credit for the violin. (Appalling) though I agreed to pay $80 for the wooden instrument. Also asked for it to be sent to the Wollongong store. Anyway I waited two weeks for them to get it in. Got texted and called up the Wollongong store only to find out they knew nothing about the order. Called up Hayworth in Albion park. Turns out it was there. Was assured I could come get it the next day. Except that when I drove all the way there they were closed. Proceeded to call up today and was told yeah it’s ready. But when I got there the staff couldn’t find the instrument. Why tell me it’s ready if you have no idea where it is?nnI was unhappy and requested they post it to me. I’ve now paid up the rest of the trade in cost. And if I do not receive the violin within the next two weeks I will be contacting the ACCC.nnThis company has lost my respect. I’ve never had a worse experience.nnEdit: two days later I received the violin. It was not set up and the e string (arguably the most important) fine tuner does not function.

I bought from Haworth online and the experience was excellent. Great communication and fast shipping. Very happy
