Do not use Budget for any insurance. They sell you a policy and then retrospectively change the policy without your knowledge. When you try to make a claim they decline it. Horrible company.

Seriously that was an extreme weather event, everyone had damage in Northern NSW.nnYou pay for what you get.nnDO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THEM, THEY WILL NOT PAY OUT

The most appalling customer service experience of my life. Wrong information by staff for a month about my claim on each call I made to them over 5 weeks. Not a single call to me in 5 weeks after my claim and my car being towed. I didn't even know where my car was. Still waiting for my excess to be refunded. What a joke of a company.

No real issues. Got the car assessed and that took about 30 minutes while I sat down, and then they organised for it to get repaired. Only thing I had a gripe with was how long the entire process took from making a claim, to getting car repaired - was about ~4 weeks.

Budget direct is a scam! 2 years and still waiting
