Mr Liquor Cronulla

I was unsure if I should right a review but I visited this little bottle shop a few weeks back and the young staff are definitely not wine experts but helped me out the best they could. management could do a better job in regards to this and provide better training and knowledge. a lot of the beer was either not cold enough or out of date and judging by reviews from other Mr. Liquor stores this is a continuing issue that management doesn't to want to address. the store desperately needs and upgrade, the white shelves at the front of the store look like they cam straight from a pharmacy. The lighting in this store is way over the top, it doesn't have to be that bright. I feel sorry for the young lads that have to work in the store all day long, that surely has be a health hazard. I am almost positive that I'm not the first person to point this out. This seems to be another issue that management don't seem to care about.nnAnything that was on special that was actually a good deal was either damaged or out of date. I'm pretty sure I saw a beer that was 3 months past best before and normally that would be fine to drink if kept correctly but that store was very hot and judging by the appearance of the store and the people who run it they don't seem to care about how well their products are being stored so this deterred from ever considering buy that beer. The upside to this store is that the young staff were very friendly except for the lady that works there who I assume is the manager. she came across as not very pleasant and unless your an old person that needs assistance she wont make much of a effort to help you. it cant be enjoyable to work with her. Another positive to this store is they have a brilliant range of imported wines, some of the best I have seen and if you look hard enough you will find some real gems hidden from plain sight. I must commend who every does the importing for that store because some of the wines I have never seen before and its a nice change from Australian and new Zealand. But that would be the only reason why I would go back to the store if I was in the area. Other then that there isn't much that draws me to want to go back.

Good selection, reasonable price.nStocks some good W.A reds, cant beat em on beer prices around close by.nGood to to 1 stop shop.

A great local business. Definitely not for wine connoisseurs but a great place for good prices, beer and affordable wines.

Friendly staff great selection of wines and beer prices are the best I've seen!
