We had the best time at this distillery. The service was fantastic and Maria made us feel very welcome. Nathan was very happy to share his knowledge of the industry and we enjoyed the tasting very much. Booked a gin tasting for today and was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism from their staff member Maria.nFrom the beginning, we walked in after being checked for ID only to have her yell over the group she was already with asking if we our IDs had been checked, no welcome or hello. We had just been next door at the winery and needed to use the bathroom so she said to a couple of us “ what are we going to do just sit here and wait all day for people to use the toilet” She then proceeded to tell us after we were all waiting that it had to be a fast tasting.nAs we were with someone who was in a wheel chair, she expected him to be right up close to the counter which was double the height. After saying no , she became even more dis courteous and dry towards the group.nnWhen we finally received our first tasting which would have been no more than 15ml of a shot glass she told us that she could kick us out for “shotting it”. We thought this was extremely rude and inappropriate considering it wasn’t even half a shot.nAfter having the tasting finish up quite quickly - as informed, we were expected to buy something which we did not want to. Overall , the whole experience was just completely dis satisfying due to Maria’s behaviour and we definitely wouldn’t visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first ever distillery tasting. Mike was a fantastic host in the cosy friendly environment. A bonus was him gifted me some little tonic bottles to use as table centre decorations. Thankyou sooo much.

I called in to book a tasting. A lady called Marnie answered the phone and took my details. I said I'll pay on the day when I get there. I got there the following day at the time of the booking to find that there was no booking as such under my name. Luckily, we were able to do the tasting as it was not that busy.nnThere were a few different types of drinks. I like the lemon myrtle liqueur and my partner preferred the famous butterscotch schnapps. Overall it was a good experience.

An amazing selection of fancy gins a fascinating vert jus and inventive liqueurs. Something for every taste bud! Right next door is a gorgeous little store with gourmet treats. Yum.
