Ballarat local, but first visit to Elysium. Gift Voucher from Christmas was due to expire within the month, so booked a facial and hoped for the best. I've been to spas around Victoria and internationally, so have certain expectations. To be honest, I didn't expect that a spa in Ballarat would meet those expectations. HOW WRONG I WAS. The facilities are beautiful when you consider it is a heritage building in central Ballarat. While the road is busy outside I heard no road noise. As soon as I entered the treatment room I was somewhere else completely. My appointment was with Skye, and short version of the story - it was bliss. First mask went on and while it did it's magic, I received a shoulder and upper arm massage. Amazing. Mask came off and another went on and I received a lower arm and hand massage. I think by then I was snoring, or dribbling (potentially both). The facial was amazing, my skin was blindingly bright, but the massage was an added bonus. I will most definitely be re-booking, maybe a whole massage - Skye is clearly very proficient in her field and her pride in her work is evident.

We were seated straight away and ordered drinks..
Had a small garlic pizza/bread to share for an entree, which was very nice..
My wife had a Thai red calamari salad while I had a chicken fettuccine carbonara..
Can highly recommend the both of them.
I had a scotch and coke while my wife had a coke..
The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and courteous..
The whole meal was around $75.00, which was a pleasant surprise..
Will be going back there again..
