I’ve been very reluctant to leave a review but given how much my experience at this salon has greatly impacted me and continues to upset me daily I thought I’m finally going to put ink to paper! I visited this salon weeks ago for a colour, a “trim” and a blow dry straight. It was recommended that I also have a treatment done which I happily accepted and would’ve asked for regardless. First of all, staff at the salon was friendly so no issues there! However, I wasn’t overly impressed with the colour but putting that aside, I asked for a “TRIM” and SPECIFICALLY requested to cut 1 inch only. The hair I was left with was approx 5 inches shorter and my hair was cut “straight” rather than keeping my “u” shape! I loved my hair and having the “u” shape gave the illusion of an even longer hair which is exactly what I wanted! What appalled me even more is that before this so called “expert” with 30 years experience butchered my hair, she did not even consult me!!! My hair was then straightened and I honestly can’t recall a time when I walked out of a hairdresser with such frizz! I’m referring to the kind of frizz you get when your hair’s been rained on! I’ve had the exact same services done many many many times before and this was by far the worst straightening job! My point here is as a paying customer I have asked for a service but the hairdressers have decided WITHOUT consulting me what I should get!!! This is MY HAIR and if I choose to have 1 inch cut off then that’s what I would expect to get! If the hairdresser had told me they needed to cut more or I should cut my hair straight I would’ve appreciated the honesty and walked straight out and moved on to find another hairdresser who would’ve respected my request. Please RESPECT customer’s wishes and if their request doesn’t align with your thought process then say it outright! I’m now having to wait at least a year for my hair to grow back to a length long enough to style into the “u” shape and have the length I like!!!!

showed the hairdresser a reference photo telling her i wanted the exact same length and style, even physically indicated where i wanted it which was up to my collarbone. she ended up cutting layers starting as short as from the top of my ear going all the way down, curtain bangs that cup halfway around my head, and the overall length of my hair was above my shoulders- not to mention every layer was uneven and choppy and i could barely tie my hair up. i had initially walked into the salon with straight cut hair up to my hips, and walked out $65 later with a mushroom looking mullet on my head when all i asked for was a trim and some curtain bangs to frame my face. i then went to another salon to see if they could salvage my butchered hair and they immediately pointed out every issue without me having to say anything- they could not do much about the length as it was already way too short but thankfully they were able to blend the unevenness and charged me only half the price.ni have never had a haircut this bad to the point where its forced me to keep a hat on and dragged my confidence down. highly do not recommend coming here- you could get the same results for free from my 3 year old niece and a pair of scissors lol bye

Good rate given based on friendly professional and within 15 minutes of booked time they look after you but I wont recommend this place for myself again as they are way over priced for just loose curls . Other places price for 65.00 but I paid 95.00 and my hair was already washed and dryed , I asked for loose curls which didnt set for long by The time I left for party I had to redo my hair my own self. I am quite disappointed.
