Blackwood Post Office

Not sure if the couple I encountered owned the place or were employees. The latter might explain disinterest in customers. Very offhand. A far cry from the old general store. With no competition I don’t suppose you have to try very hard

The place is really nice, they have coffee and refreshments. Also they do sell some nice items. The staff working there is super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area with nice fireplace and fabulous view. It’s a special place indeed.

The owners are always very welcoming and can get some great eco conscious gifts and a coffee to go. It is also a lovely dog friendly cafe with seating out the back so so can sit with your mate and both have a rest.

The owners are so Lovely, great mix of of old & new wares at low prices. Delicious pies, pasties & coffee. We sat out in the back garden with the kookaburras sitting in the tree beside us & there was a fire to take off the chill - lovely country feel ⭐️
