Ziggy's Barber Salon

My partner and I both go here and the place is exceptionally cool and incredibly LGBTQIA+ friendly. Travis and Casey are easily the friendliest, loveliest, most skilled hairdressers we’ve ever encountered. I experience anxiety and was very nervous about my first appointment, but from the moment you enter the door, you feel completely at ease and very comfortable. The aesthetic of the place is insane, funky artwork, decorations, quotes, writings on the walls. The head massage I received during my hair wash literally left me feeling the most relaxed I’ve ever felt in my entire life, and there’s just something so spirit-lifting about having your hair done, and having it done well. I always have the most wonderful conversations too with my hairdresser. I honestly always leaving Ziggy’s feeling invigorated, confident and ready to continue with life. I cannot recommend this place more.

I've been getting my haircut by Andy for almost 4 years now. He's the owner, has tons of experience, and does a fantastic job. I finally had an actual hairstyle after coming here, and I've regularly received compliments on my hair ever since, which doesn't happen often for a guy. The other staff are also great, they've subbed in for Andy a couple of times when he was off, so no matter who you choose, you're in good hands. The salon is charming and unpretentious, covered in funky posters, and always playing great tunes. Very punctual too, I've never had an appointment start late. Thanks Andy!
