I was very underwhelmed by my experience here, especially after reading so many great reviews. I was expecting to come out feeling fabulous, however although the haircut was fine and the lady that did my hair was very friendly, the staff that took payment at the till made me feel very insignificant, so I left the salon feeling quite flat. This leaves a lasting impression. The salon itself is clean with standard decor. The highlight was a fantastic head massage, but aside from this I would not recommend.

The most professional, consistent team of stylists. No matter who does your hair the quality and experience is always excellent and consistent. I look forward to my weekly visit and would recommend this salon to anyone. Best hairdressing salon in Sydney.

I came into the salon today for a blowdry and had an amazing service by the lovely male stylist (I'm sorry I'm not sure of his name!) he did a great job styling my hair. I would definitely come back when I am in Sydney again. Thank you!

I have been going to Alan Coban now for sometime and it is hands down, the best salon I have ever been to. The staff are all friendly, polite and courteous and most importantly - they know hair! They are colour specialists - they know exactly which colours match every skin tone and they do the best blow dry. From the moment you walk in, you are treated beyond well and their attention to detail, in every respect, is spot on. The quality of the products they use are top notch - I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else.

I’ve been attending for close to a year and all I can say is that I wouldn’t go anywhere else for all my hair needs. Julia is amazing, professional, experienced, and always leaves my hair amazing!! Not only that, but the whole team always provides exceptional customer service with a smile! Can’t recommend highly enough!!!
