The Bat & Ball Hotel

The bar service was good, friendly and efficient. Don't come here for the steak. We had them on a Monday night they were awful--dry, chewy, tasteless and terrible cut of meat. Definitely not cooked medium. Not worth $26 at all. We should have taken that as a sigh that few people were actually eating there at dinner time. We live in the area definitely won't be back for the food.

I used to love the Bat & Ball as a good solid local pub, but the last two times I've been the Sunday roast has sold out by 5pm and even their steak options. The menu has also been reduced over time. Still great friendly staff but please sort out your food options.

This place felt like it had been my local pub for the last 10 years the first time I went there! Trivia started out as just something to do as we got food. (AMAZING food BTW) This then turned into a super fun slightly casual game that involved winning stupid amounts of free drinks for almost everyone involved. The staff were so amazing as well as it was really reasonably priced. Get down and support businesses like this so we don't lose them!

Great local hotel. Their Kitchen is ammazing. Has a few tv's for sport viewing and a pool table. Some accommodation available upstairs. Bit difficult to get to via public transport. Happy and friendly staff ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d worth a visit.

Every now and again you feel compelled to leave review for a great experience. My visits to the Bat and Ball whilst travelling to Sydney for work have made this happen. The service was exceptional made me feel like I was at a country pub in the city.The staff noticed I was watching the footy in my phone and immediately offered to put it on the tv . I payed for a couple of beers with my dinner and they delivered the second beer to my seat after I finished. Little things make for a great experience when travelling. I ordered the Peri peri chicken and it was exceptional nice and light and well crafted meal. I wanted to try the other options on my second night but couldn’t it was too good.nSo happy I camenThanks ud83dudc4d
