I am a long term customer of vintage cellars and I have never written a review about a business, but I was just treated very badly and I believe discriminated against because of a lazy eyelid at this store. The staff member claimed that I had had too much to drink (though I had not had a single drink). Thinking that I probably look quite tired I tried to explain that I had just been visiting my mother in hospital, forgetting about my eyelid as it is rarely an issue (except in times of extreme stress). A 3 minute conversation certainly would have cleared up any doubt of my sobriety but I was immediately refused without any question (after the older gentleman lingered on my eyelid). He was incredibly rude and humiliated me in front of other customers, which was also totally unnecessary. I understand that Oxford St is a challenging location, but it is really no excuse when it comes to discriminating against people based on their physiognomy. I am quite concerned for anyone with similar issues of a more permanent nature being treated in that manner, as it was extremely distressing.

Great service, excellent range, reasonable prices.
