I just would like to make a complaint about a colleague working at Liquorland in the mall in the city. It was 9:45 and as per online it states 9:50pm the store closes. There was a worker named Sid (Indian worker) who advised the store was closing in 5mins which is understandable 100%. But this worker Sid was rude and disrespectful to both myself and my partner. I tried to advise him he did not need to yell at me about someone else (not to do with me) trying to come into the store close to 9:50pm closing time but he was adamant he was right and was completely rude to my partner, myself & others in line who were in the store on time. I am not happy getting this service when working retail for nearly 10 years and getting this service. Even when a customer comes in 2 mins before closing, we do not disrespect them as it is our job till closing time exact and service anyone who walks in before closing time. This case was opposite and doors closed 5mins earlier than usual. Especially because I was running late to get Alcohol for an occasion (my fault) but I made it in time and still got yelled at about hurrying up before closing time. I do not appreciate this and hope for an answer regarding this. If this doesn’t escalate I will go further because he upset me. Please do appreciate I am coming via email rather than reviews and social media posting further and at the moment do not want to ever shop again at Liquorland. I will be passing this onto as much people as I can. I do not like to pass this on or seem like “one of those customers” but this was on another level.nnI look forward to hearing from someone.
