Dove & Olive

This is the first time I have visited the Dove and Olive even though I am a local to the area. We were here to celebrate a birthday. We sat downstairs and ate firstly in front of the windows. What a wonderful spot. I had the schnitzel which was absolutely delicious! It was perfectly cooked and nice and thick. The gravy made it even better. After lunch we discovered the bar upstairs. We sat there comfortably enjoying a few gin and tonics. I really appreciated the quality of the glassware It made all the difference!

Dove & Olive. What a great space. Last night I had a party for my sister and brother in law for their baby on the way.nI cannot praise the staff enough. Easy walk from central but also on the tram route. Has my favourite (milk porter) on tap. Great location for large groups. Roast meats menu.

Great both in winter and summer.. a great hideaway pub from the hectic Surry Hills.nExcellent food, wide range of craft bars and also a good wine menu

Would give it no stars if I could. Me and a friend ordered 2 burgers at lunchtime. I seen the waiter give what looked like our order to a table that came in after us. 30 minutes went by and I went to the bar to check where our food was and of course they lost our order. 20 minutes went by and eventually our burgers and chips came out. But of course to make our experience worse the food was freezing cold. If we weren't so hungry we would have returned it. Absolutely horrible experience!!
