Australia Post - Hobart GPO

What sort of Database do u have?? We post an item from TAS to Brisbane, we try to send the parcel to 4/17 kidston terrace Chermside qld 4032, We missed the unit number and lost the tracking number due to moving house. Now we called and asked to track the parcel. And they said sorry. I dont understand what database do they have?? I am pretty sure they may have some record of the sender and receiver in the database, otherwise how can they post it. I am totally unhappy with Auspost.

This is a very historical post office. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is a problem in Hobart. But worth the visit.
