First time coming here was greeted by a young guy at the front desk who was very friendly and listened to what I needed. Was going in to get my bass serviced and set up. He was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable talking to him. I have been in a lot of guitar shops with arrogant older owners who like to give slack to younger players but did not get any ego or attitude here.nGot the bass back in a few days, good turnaround. Cannot fault the job they did: smooth as butter to play. I wanted low as possible action with minimal fret buzz and the really delivered. Highly recommended, will be coming back here from now on.
Great guys, seriously know their stuff.nnHappy for me to hang out for 1.5 hours playing different guitars while I made my mind up. Having a guitar tech on site also meant I was able to ask for a couple of quick changes to the setup before buying a guitar.
After receiving a second hand guitar that Dr Gear had refurbished I couldn't be happier with the amazing job done by them and the beautiful guitar delivered.
Great little store with lots of essential gear for musicians. Instruments, amps, leads, guitar strings etc.
Friendly and knowledgeable. Really helped me get started when I had 0 starting knowledge or experience.
