Tim Pringle

I was referred to Tim Pringle, who entertained us at our work Christmas lunch held on Friday, 11 December 2020. From the outset Tim explained what type of songs he could sing, and we went through logistics. He was extremely professional and accommodating. On the event day, he arrived on time with his equipment and guitar and a friendly laid back attitude. He fit in perfectly with our group of 50 +. Along with the great food and wine we had, Tim took the atmosphere to the next level, and made us all feel so relaxed and in the mood. I would absolutely recommend Tim for any function, he is extremely talented with an amazing voice!

I have one piece of advice for anyone looking for a musician. Book Tim Pringle. Seriously, do it right now. Whether it’s for your wedding, work function, casual celebration or just because it’s a day ending in y.nTim played at our wedding on the 12th of April and I’m still getting messages from friends and family raving about him and honestly we couldn’t be happier to recommend him to anyone that will listen.nTim was professional and relaxed from the day we booked him, through our covid postponement and then on the day. We honestly wish our reception lasted longer just so we could spend more time busting terrible moves to amazing tunes.nTim was also a fabulous MC and ensured we had nothing to worry about and everything ran smoothly. Tim made it all look easy and ensured there was music played to get everyone on the dance floor throughout the night.nWe truly can’t recommend him enough and can’t wait to find another reason to book him again.nTim Pringle is what you need!

It’s an interesting energy to have all of your family and friends in the same room at the same time. Whether it's a birthday party or bigger event like your wedding, there is always reservations that someone is not going to get along with someone else. It’s almost inevitable. There are so many different personalities in the same space. But you can do things to minimise the tension.nPut Aunty Mavis and Uncle Stan on table 4 up the front and the younger cousins closer to the back near the bar. Cousin John, on your partner’s side can’t sit with Cousin Bill because John still owes Bill $20 from 1985. The list goes on and on and on.nThe one thing I know to be true from experience, is that hiring Tim Pringle to play at your event is a weapon in your arsenal to ensure that your event runs smoothly.nTim is an exceptional performer, no one can deny that. He has an extensive repertoire from 60’s to today’s hits to keep everyone up and dancing all night. Tim provided us with a set list to choose from prior to the event, and was also happy to indulge us with the occasional request. Aside from Tim being a great performer, it’s also Tim’s ability to read a room’s energy that makes him such an asset to you on the night. Cracks open with some Elton John to keep Aunty Mavis happy, and once the olds have had enough sherry to loosen the joints, he hits you with bopper after bopper over the course of the night keeping everyone up and dancing. Before you know it Cousin John and Bill are having a dance battle royale, 80’s style and reminiscing about hownthey used to throw it down back in the day.nYou see, not only is Tim providing the soundtrack to your party and memories, he is providing a much more valuable service… the space and time to enjoy your event without having to worry about if everyone is enjoying themselves, because you can see that everyone is. And he’s not a bad bloke either. 5 Stars. Highly recommend.

With so many DJ’s and Bands advertising their wedding services, how do choose the best one? Simple, Call Tim Pringle.nnWe count our blessing every day that we were referred onto Tim. From the very first phone conversation it was obvious we we talking to someone who really LOVES music, but also really cared about making sure the wedding music achieved EXACTLY the right mood and feel that the Bride and Groom wanted for their special day. Tim understood immediately what we were looking for and offered sincerely helpful guidance to us before we had even decided to book him. How could this guy be any more genuine?nnWe were immediately supplied with extensive song lists of PROVEN wedding favourites that Tim is already a seasoned expert at playing - Tim has fantastic taste in music.nIt was completely up to us to decide how big we wanted the band to be. Tim is an Excellent Soloist and also performs as a Duo, Trio or full 5-Piece Band. 
We were Delighted to be given the option of Tim expertly learning any special songs that weren’t already part of his encyclopaedic scope of songs.nnTim played All Day.
He played incredibly beautiful, sentimental music at our ceremony. He learned a few special ones just for us which he played better than the originals.
He entertained our guests during canapé hournHe adapted like a true professional when the photographers stole the show and photo-shoots ran WAY over time - noting phased him.
Tim was the perfect, funny, relatable MC through Dinner and speeches - liaising directly with Venue staff the whole way through - we didn’t have to worry about a thing.nOnce everyone was well Wined and Dined BOY did the party Start.
We left Tim to his own devices to read the crowd and use his experience to play the song set on the fly.nHow do you play music that 7 year olds right through to 90 year olds will all love? Tim Found a way.
It could not have been more perfect if we tried.
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was dancing.
The young and the Very Very old.nThe only disappointing part of the day was when the last song played and it was time for everyone to go home.

Four weeks later we are back from our honeymoon and our family and friends are still calling us to congratulate us on our marriage and to complement us on the MOST FUN wedding they have ever been to.
It sounds like an exaggeration - but not one person who attended the wedding has failed to mention HOW GREAT Tim Pringle was on the night.nnWe could not have asked, nor paid any amount of money for a better musician to perform at our wedding.nZero Regrets here and nothing but praise.nThe most sincere compliment I can give about Tim is to Vow that any party, any gathering, any occasion where music is needed, I will be calling Tim to book him in.
