Just Cuts Charlestown

We left before the hair cut began! Very unprofessional and extremely abrupt hairdresser with NO people skills. My 11 year old daughter I could see felt very uncomfortable and burst in to tears asking if we could leave ud83dude33nnOur usual hairdresser at another salon always asks lots of questions, LISTENS and then we come up with a plan. Obviously Just Cuts just expect you to sit down and do whatever THEY had in mind. Hairdresser chastised my daughter about forgetting to take a little plait out of her hair and also that her hair was a little knotty from wearing it out at school and told her she should’ve taken a brush. I wondered how she was planning to cut it because my daughter wanted a trim and some layers along the bottom, so walked back over to see what was planned and could tell my daughter was about to cry. Dodged a bullet and ran!nnOh, the other hairdresser in there who was watching was LOVELY. She welcomed us, was chatty and friendly.nnI’m actually a retail store manger currently on maternity leave, so I must say too that I noticed and didn’t appreciate the hairdresser I’m complaining about deciding who would do the job by checking the computer infront of us and saying ‘well we are both on the same, so either of us’. You don’t make comments about store figures within ear shot of a customer or keep them waiting while you check that out.nnWe will stick with taking our time and going to a more professional salon.

Demanded a personal phone number, despite checking in using Covod-safe app. Has never been a problem in the past when I tell them I don't give out my phone number. This person was rude and wouldn't book me in without providing a number. Left without using the service.

Finally after my many years of getting hair styles from various places I came across Kirra, I told her what I wanted and boom got exactly that. I just wanted a layered cut that dried with body that I didn’t need to do anything special to as I am not particularly interested in a long morning routine. Most hairstyles in the past left my hair flat at the back and layered at the front mostly so I take to cutting my hair myself but loose my way. I left this salon with wet hair as I didn’t want it dried off, and half hour later my hair had body all the way around. I went back after having a coffee with a work mate and made sure I had her name for next time I need a cut. Honestly it was $35 well spent. I can’t explain enough just how happy I am. Thank you Kirra your listened to what I wanted and delivered. ud83dudc4d

My wife had a haircut at Just Cuts Charlestown this morning. When she arrived home I couldn’t help but notice that they’d made a terrible job of it. It’s uneven with longer bits at the front than the sides on her left side and the opposite on her right side. It looks dreadful. My wife rang them to see if they could fix it. She said “I had a haircut with you this morning and my husband says it’s a mess.....” at this point they hung up on her!

Well priced and you get what you ask!! Great staff as well, can't wait to bring my 2 year old down for his first haircut!
