This shop provides service the way it is meant to be done. Walked in there yesterday just to look at some guitars (I'm a complete novice and keen to start my guitar journey).nnTully & Ian are two greats blokes who know their stuff. I wasn't in a position to buy but they treated me like I had bought out their entire stock.nnI got to hold and test out some guitars and have been recommended a very good brand to have a think about when I'm ready to buy.nnThese blokes want to make it easy not hard. Highly recommended and worth the trip out to Maitland.

Got a guitar put together and the neck wasn't right, took it back and the guy seemed more interested in denying there was an issue (there clearly was) rather than accepting that it wasn't right. It was a warranty job, when I picked it up he then charged me $35 to restring the guitar (I supplied the strings) even though they had to come off to fix guitar, he didn't even clean the instrument just put them on and then gave paperwork on the repair, upon reading it he stated that both he and the other guy agreed that there wasn't a problem. Little did he know that when I bought it in there the other guy agreed that the neck was clearly off set, this really has got under my skin and if I could give no stars I would. Very disappointing and I'll now be taking my instruments elsewhere.

In my opinion, the best music shop in Newcastle, Australia. Always friendly and really knowledgeable about all instruments and accessories. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Friendly and knowledgeable people who seem to go the extra mile to help you. Bought an acoustic there 2017. It's unbelievable something so affordable could last a lifetime, sounding better with age. Thanks Ian and Tully.
