Valley Music

Two of my daughters, aged 13 and 10 have piano lessons with Leanne. They both love it and are flourishing under her training. Leanne is encouraging and keeps them motivated. It was great to have my oldest pass her first exam with flying colours. Thanks Leanne

Valley Music is great- my son has been learning piano for 2 years now, and he loves Leanne. She is warm and friendly and keeps it interesting for him. Their location too is really convenient.

All three of my daughters have been attending Valley music this year, all the way through covid, where Leanne kept consistancy with appearing in our house via Zoom any time that suited us. She has personally really pushed our middle daughter on her piano, continuing her grading via video submissions. Leanne has assisted us in getting our eldest daughter back into violin lessons and then being able to get all three girls into lessons at the same time on the same day all doing different instruments, which is a huge help in our busy lives. Valley music has been one of the most welcoming, professional and encouraging music schools that we have attended.

My daughter is enrolled in Drumming lessons. She thoroughly enjoys it and have progressed very quickly in a short time.

Sadly I would NOT recommend Valley Music. Leanne Mears would not refund me $140 for lessons that she cancelled due to Covid 19, but she credited all other returning parents for term 2. Basically because I wasn't a returning customer, I lost out $140. I understand times are tough, but they are tough for everyone. Also no flexibility whatsoever with lesson rescheduling, even with ample notice. As for the kids piano teacher Evan's, he was fantastic and I plan on taking my kids to his private music studio in Cameron Park. I wish Leanne all the best, hopefully this honest review will encourage her to do the right thing by customers in the future.
